This year, seven products have successfully passed the Information Security Product Rapid Confirmation System, surpassing last year’s six products. Notably, the system is helping emerging technologies like Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) gain certification and access to the market.
According to the information security industry on the 17th, the Rapid Confirmation Review Committee reviewed and approved seven products this year, issuing confirmation certificates under the system.
The Rapid Confirmation System, introduced in November 2022, aims to open pathways to public markets, including government and public institutions, for new technologies and convergence information security products lacking established certification standards.
After a slow start in the first half of this year, the second half saw new approvals beginning with Donghoon I-Tech’s secret asset management platform, Keyrke v1.0. This was followed by Aranta’s online maintenance access control system, WizHelper One V3.0, and U-Rock’s portable digital forensic product, DFAS Pro v1.3.
In particular, four additional products earned certification since mid-November, signaling the system’s growing stability.
Newly certified products include ICTK and LG Uplus's qTrustNet SafeHome v2.0, T-SID's TSID v1.0, and Cubic's large language model capsule, LLM Capsule v1.0.
qTrustNet SafeHome uses post-quantum cryptography and virtual private network (VPN) technology to establish a secure home network by logically separating connections between different households. TSID provides identification, verification, and authentication functions via smartphones, catering to both remote and offline users. Meanwhile, LLM Capsule automatically detects personal information in text transmitted to public large language models and replaces it with secure alternatives to minimize privacy risks.
zkrypto’s blockchain voting system, zkVoting v2.0, which leverages Zero-Knowledge Proof, also joined the ranks of certified products. Zero-Knowledge Proof is a technology that validates data without revealing personal information. In the blockchain environment, zkVoting ensures secret ballot integrity and prevents vote manipulation using this technology.
zkrypto, like other companies, sought certification under the Rapid Confirmation System to validate the security of its product built on cutting-edge technology.
zkrypto CEO Hyun-Wook Oh commented, “This certification will serve as a catalyst for expanding services into public sectors, including political voting, and private sectors. We also aim to accelerate global expansion into markets such as the U.S. and Southeast Asia, building on domestic references.”
